Too cute!
His answer to the question about how much fun it was and he just says "fun" was perfect.

Great Goodwood for us. I'm proud to say that my wee boy Lachlan came 10th in the pedal car race on Saturday and then backed that up with a brilliant 3rd on Sunday. Very proud parents!

We spoke to Jason Stanley's mechanics on Saturday afternoon and they were planning to do an all-nighter to get the mini out for Jason on Sunday, but obviously were unable to get it repaired in time. Consolation was that Jason's son had come second in his pedal car on Saturday - well done Joe!

Ha, brilliant, I watched that! Congratulations are in order!

That is a great click Malcolm, the link worked perfectly.

Lachlan was a total star!

I wonder if that's "59fan" of this parish in the pickup - in what might be a comfy chair.

I'd have done my hair if I knew some bugger was taking photo's. Reliant Scimitar Seats in the back for relaxation, these bad boys for track-side action.

Having seen Jason's car where it was being stored off-track while retrieving my GoPro from it, the impact is severe but hopefully not as bad as it could have been. Looked like more of a frontal sideswipe than a full frontal impact, the doors worked and sounded good, and the windscreen was in place. Time on the jig will tell the full story.
Jackie Oliver lost his appeal against his penalties for causing the accident, my footage pointing out of the back window was pretty damning...

Well done to Lachlan - I look forward to shouting at him again next year

Alex, I'm guessing that you're Alex AKA "shouty man" who does the fantastic job of organising the J40s? If so, I take my hat off to you for a fantastic job of cat-herding in order to make it all happen. Superb organisation this year and getting more slick every year. Lachlan is very proud of his trophy and shows it off to anyone who's interested (and also to anyone who isn't...). He was quick to ask his Grandpa who many trophies he's won at Goodwood (answer - 0)

Good news re Jason's car, I hope it fixes ok.

Malcolm.
