Halfords offered (HB)057 which is what is used in post 90 Coopers which presumably have same size battery box. However 057 is very slim and would require packing and is so tall that bracket bolts are too short to reach angle retaining bar.
The car is converted to negative earth.
Any ideas? I want to get the original look if possible.

To fit width ways the battery needed is an 063. However, if you want a bit more power an 075 will fit.
