Nope... neither of those covers.
It was a circuit car, not sure if he had the tyres smoking. The car was red. The photo was looking at the right front, you could see the front and down the right side.
May have had some left hand opposite lock on. It was an amazing photo when you had read the caption.
I have had a good search on ebay, but no luck.
Any more leads would be appreciated.

Peter 1071... Sorry I missed your posting.
Thats not the photo as I remember it, but it is many years ago now. The caption seems to be as I remember, but I thought you could see down the right side of the car. Unlikely to have 2 captions virtually the same...

Peter 1071....
Do you have the actual magazine, or is that a cover you found on a Google search?
I used your advice and Googled " John Rhodes... Autosport Magazine" and found the cover you have posted.
Must be the correct one, just not exactly how I remember it.... Christ the alzheimers must be more advanced than i thought....

Hi Kiwi Craig. Yes I have the magazine and can have a go at scanning the cover and emailing it to you if you like? It's a bit creased and dog eared! I have a few of these magazines but only two with Minis on the cover. I like looking through the old adverts in the back wishing I had a time machine.
