I’ve recently come across a set of original D1 wheels and am in need of the correct nuts for them.

After contacting D1 wheel nut man Peter, he suggested I ask on here.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of the correct parts?

I found http://www.speedshack.co.uk/Wheelnuts.htm in the recommended suppliers section. Anyone bought from them?

Thanks in advance

I have, Speedshack are ACE.

Just tell them you need nuts for D1's for a Mini & he will know what you are on about.

Fast service too.

Thanks Mark,

Exactly as you said! I emailed them last night and they responded this morning with a picture of their offering. Quote with shipping to be sent later today.

Hi Abri
Any chance you could post the piccy speed shack will supply you with along with their price with delivery ? Please
I had a look at these a few weeks back and have to either find some or make some but was put off making them due to the price of 3/4 hex 316 bar .
Would be nice to see what speedshack supply and what price
I will reply to your PM shortly but peter might have a spare set of centres ?
Cheers
Jeremy

Certainly. Let's see if I can get this right...

Sorry, I can't get the photo to appear in the thread for some reason. It's on Flickr at the link above.

The nut is not as handsome as the ones Peter makes (carefully phrased to avoid rude jokes ;) ) but will do the trick.

I'll report back as soon as I have a price.

I've sent Nick an email to get hold of the Dunlop decals.

Just need to source the center caps now.
