Way back in the early 2000's a couple of my cars were featured in the ITV series "Heartbeat". This is a clip from an episode that featured my Clipper Blue 850. It is in this case wearing fake plates at my request.

Click on the 2 clips below & see if you can spot the difference ;)

Ha, ha, that was why on the second occasion I asked for false plates to be fitted.

Correct, they used a "stunt" Mini for the second scene. It does beg the question "Why didn't they use the second car for all the filming :)

Look to be two different cars.
First one has plastic washer jets early door handles, black crackle interior mirror, early Morris hub caps, no seat belts and chrome window catches, second one has chrome washer jets, safety boss type handles, plastic interior mirror, later common hub caps, has Kangol seat belts and plastic window catches.

It might be the shots but the rear window on the second car looks to be bigger, is a mk2 dressed up to be a mk1?

if your a heatbeat saddo (sorry, fan...) you will notice car number two appear many times, it eventually changed colour - it was a right old dog, hence its job as the stunt car

it belongs to an occasional member on here, and still (i think) lives around here (york)

I think Mark has a new agent.

These clips were on Facebook the other day.

All part of raising his media profile before he enters 'Love Island' I suspect.
