Mark....do you know if this sample (above picture) close to what was fitted to pre 66 cars????

It is impossible to compare the colours or shades of anything on a computer screen, the rendering of any colour is different on every machine.

Pre 66 cars would be fitted with traditional woolen carpets, not veltone.

I have never seen an unfaded grey woolen carpet, so can't really comment on the shade, but Newton reckon this is the best early carpet available.

Is that the C106 (Grey) or the C120 (Dove Grey) Mark? They look very similar in the images on their website.

I finally received a lot of samples...mail is silly slow.
OK, narrowed it down to 2......Woolies have a grey that is similar to the BAS 106 grey
The AKD sates that the cars had cumulus grey carpets prior to the Veltone change.
Would anyone know if that cumulus grey carpet would be the same color as the cumulus grey seats/trim etc. etc on other variants?
If it is....then none of these will be a really good color match.
