What has taken me a couple of days to work out are the indicator/side light units on Peters car.

They were not on a British car (but it was built in Britain).

Although i'm far from a coach build expert they do look British to me, as the are probably Lucas L714 lights as fitted by Jensen to the Volvo P1800 (you know the one Simon Templer drove in "the Saint" ;) ) Just mounted upside down. I once had a restoration on hands with a car fitted with these lights (long before the internet made things much easier!). It was a coach build Jaguar that was made in Kingston upon Thames and never left GB so they had to be British. The were far beyond recognition so took me a while to figure it out, and Volvo wasn't the direction i was looking at at first to be honest!

Jack

Now what did i win?

Ah, that one! That was also at Blyton last year. And it really is a pretty nice car!
Thanks for the link, Surfblue.
