So come on then, what happened at Beaulieu this year. I have heard next to nothing & have seen no more than a handful of pics.

There must be some juicy gossip for all of us who missed out.

It was hot. I didn't take that many pictures this year as I was selling some stuff. But those interested in the coach-builts will be happy. Here's just a taster

More later when I have edited them

Very hot! The jumble was a bit thin on the ground but the mix of cars on display made up for it. No pics I'm afraid.

It was warm.
I actually went - which was a miracle in itself, plus I was a passenger in a mini, which is probably a 1st. Arrived partially deaf and nauseous from petrol fumes.
Some very tidy Mk2 coopers, particularly the red one on the RH end of the display. An Austrian reg surf blue Sprint, which was kinda nice. Good spread of interesting cars.
Saw faces I recognised from over 25 years ago. Everyone looks older. I look older. Noticeable lack of young folk. Guy who dropped through a hole in the space / time continuum from 1974 - I quite liked that. Or did I imagine it? Less club tents and groups around the back of the field. Didn't venture beyond the bank I must admit. Saw a nice line of MINI GPs peeking through the gap.
Old parts for sale. Maybe I don't know what i'm looking at anymore? Pretty grotty some of it, and expensive. New parts for sale - Nice binnacles and white speedo pods.
Smaller attendance than I remember it being in the past, but good it is still going. Very well organised.
Maybe next time I will go in my car. Been saying that for over 25 years as well....
