Thank you very much for all your thoughts chaps. I have always rather fancied one and they do seem a real bargain in comparison. My real problem is that I'm up to my eyeballs in old cars and bits and need to flog stuff before I even think about another car....hopefully it can get round to owning one in teh ot too distant future. I've also always fancied one of the later boxy deTomaso Innocentis! That's another car that seems to have been quietly forgotten about.
Cheers
Will

Nice Inno brochure https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Innocenti-Mini-Cooper-export-original-Prospekt-sehr-guter-Zustand-selten/332690001474?hash=item4d75de8e42:g:KIMAAOSwMvpbJ3xx

He's got lots of buts too. All start cheap, so you may get lucky.

As a completely biased Inno Cooper owner, I don't think that the UK built car gets close for quality.
In saying this, I have also owned a Mk3S and 1275GT, so am speaking from personal experience.
Inno electrics however, leave a lot to be desired.
