From the "age" thread I know there are a good number of you out there to whom these will be very nostalgic. Just picked these up at a local thrift shop. I used to have hundreds of them including quite a few rare ones. Probably one of the things I most regret losing from my childhood. Well, I didn't "lose" them, my father gave them away. I found the box, broken down in the garage, that I had packed them away in . My dad claimed no knowledge of them or what may have happened to them :)

You were lucky...when I was posted to Germany in the 80's, my Dad part chopped my 66 Mk1 Cooper (left with him to use) for a Daihatsu Charade  , then moved house and gave away my shed full of classic British m'cycle and mini parts.......still can't forgive him!

I was talking more little kid lost memories :) And to be fair, that collection would have easily been worth about $15,000 today based on what I have seen sell on eBay.

Haha! Well, after one of our moves my dad did leave his woody with my uncle to keep in care and my uncle went and sold it!

My Mother threw away all my corgi toys, car magazines and car brochures when I was 16, I’ve never quite managed to forgive her and it has cost me a fortune to replace just some of them.

Not seeing the image, so can only guess what you're talking about! Is this still a Photophuket thing?

It is Photosuckit. It’s a pic of some Britains I found yesterday a Moor, some Napoleonic soldiers and a couple of American Civil War soldiers.
