I've been looking for bronze bushings to recondition some H4 and H2 carburetters (they're for the throttle spindle). I know burlen sells PTFE bushings (split type) but I still would like to find some made of bronze.

Internal diameter: 5/16"
Outter diameter: 3/8"
Length: at least 5/8"

Question is: where can I buy them, cheap if possible?

I've only found a couple of USA sites with them and it was expensive and they don't ship to Europe. All help appreciated. Thanks

You could try a "hobby shop" that deals in rc cars and planes etc.

Oilier bearings are available. You may have to Machine an over size one to get your size.

Yep....., what's the problem with the Burlem replacements. Much easier and just as reliable as bronze is brass. I'm all for using a local home hobbyist....., one of those retired model engineers. Their work is absolutely superb and they'd probably have more brass off-cuts than you could swing a cat at. Plus they'll work for pocket money prices

internal diameter slightly out, but could be reamed out, sorry don't remember
where they came from, most likely a model parts supplier.
