We've also had some VERY generous donations via the justgiving page (as linked by Mark above) from people who didn't make the event, and even from those that did! So the total is increasing all the time and I'll do a final figure update in a week or two.

Massive thanks from me. Alot of people who's families are affected by cancer, as mine is, will do all sorts to raise funds for the organisations that help the victims or fight the disease itself but I'm not a great runner with my knees (or my fekin back ache!  ) (couldn't run a bath this weekend!) so doing this gives numpties like me an opportunity to do something and I really appreciate all the donations and help to collect this vitally needed cash to help take the fight to cancer. I know from experience just how treatments improve all the time, how survival rates lengthen all the time and how much help is now available to the sufferers and their families, so a truly heartfelt thank you to you all for joining in at Blyton Park.

And the big bonus is it's a whole aot of fun to do. :)
