I always book parcelforce via the parcels to go website, obviously there not the cheapest but I can drop off my parcels at my village postoffice that’s open till 9pm. Works for me...

Yes parcelforce drop of at post office. Book with PF website often a promo code for 10-15% off if you google search.

you'll need to define 'Scotland' as its a big place and some areas are vastly more expensive due to being off the mainland.

Yep, realise that now. Tassie is Tasmania in Oz where the car is going with the wings and bumbers stowed inside. Scotland, according to the Ozzie owner is just a small place to the North of England where the car is being shipped from . Sorry, can't be any clearer than that. Will probably arrange some financial thinggy between Ozzie customer, me taking a trip as far as Carlisle and meeting the shipper from Jockland
