On every car I have restored, I always look in books to find good period shots of details like how wiring fastens in, the correct routes for pipes, cables and clips etc.
On the Moke however, I am struggling. Restored cars vary wildly in terms of originality and quality.
Anybody know of a book or google image that shows an unmolested Mk1 Moke engine bay??
Thanks in advance.

Here is a photo of a LHD November 1965 Moke that was recently discovered in America. It has only covered 1600 miles from new.

Whilst the engine bay has got some non original master cylinders and a fuel filter, everything else looks pretty original.

I particularly like the yellow paint indicating the bits that need to be checked ;)

The Moke is in amazing original condition and there are more photos of it on our FB page if you click here. Roger
