"2018 Geneva Motor Show: The Mini Remastered by David Brown Automotive combines the dimensions and look of the small car icon once created by Sir Alec Issigonis with modern technology, and shows that the classic hasn’t lost its charm. The fact that the 740-kilogram lightweight Mini can offer neither the space nor the safety of modern small cars, its fans will still fall in love with the unique design and British spirit. Anyone who has fallen in love with the Mini Remastered by David Brown Automotive needs to exercise some patience since the vehicles are built with lots of manual work according to customer requirements. The cost, depending on the extent of special requests, is at least 75,000 British pounds."

Not my cup of tea, but you cannot help but admire the work that's gone into them can you.

Just a play on that '.....flogging a dead horse....' concept to me. A bit like the latter days of what Rover repeatedly tried

Surprised they do not use one of the current trend of cool words such as Faux .. if this is what keeps people employed and provides an outlet for those with too much cash .. plus every sale will also please the Tax Man .. so be it!

At £75K they'll devalue faster than shares in Arsenal!

I think I’d be worrying more about deterioration (rot) than depreciation.
Hope they’re (re)plastered in Waxoyl!

Not everyone's cuppa, but I quite like them. There are a few details I don't like - the taillights are hideous and the bonnet straps on the red car are pretty bad too but the overall style and design is very nice. I particularly like the interior. Fitting Cooper S brakes to allow 10" wheel fitment would be better and with all the other alterations perhaps they could have gone with a flush fitting filler cap or a flap. It's no classic but for someone looking for a more modern take on the Mini it's a good attempt.

Not sure the £75k is realistic though
