It might be ok with a bit of tlc Andrew but i may just cannibalize it for my own pump.

If you break it, might be interested in a few bits if you want to sell anything off it ;)

No problem Andrew. I'll test it out first then decide what to do. The fact it was in a skip doesn't inspire me with confidence !

I wouldn't be so sure. How many garages need a Hydro pump nowadays?

What a GREAT find!

It was an old MG Rover garage closing down. I just missed boxes of NOS parts so was really annoyed then i spotted the dalek in the skip and thought why not !

That's what I like to hear! A bit of enterprising skip diving :)

If it works, keep it or sell it complete, they are worth a few quid.

Any one of us with a Hydro car should have one. There may be alternatives but you cannot beat the real deal. Our vacuum system doesn't work but its not a problem.

Definitely keep it if it works, both isolation valves are seized but should be easy to replace or fix. Both pumps are free moving. This is a twin hose type, mine is single hose, so maybe start a collection :D
