Overriders...... The problem I found is that the bumper shape down the sides ain't bumper shaped! As a result, to get them to fit tight, well fitting and snug on the actual bumper in the plastic protector/rubbing thinggies you've got to over tighten the securing screw underneath hard against the little plate bit. This has meant that twice now, the overrider has cut through the plastic buffer strips and rubbed into the chrome bumper and it's started rusting within a few weeks. More to clean, more to rust........ left 'em off this time.

As for drilling the bumpers to accommodate the Mk1 type corner bars........ No, not me either! But each to his own

I prefere with over,riders

anyway if you order some bumpers with over,riders off Rich he will overide you and send with out! :lol:

I vote no overriders - much cleaner look. The classic MkI Mini as penned by Issigonis and Co.

I had the over riders / corner bars and twin spot grill, I went the opposite way and took the grill off for a standard one :lol:
