It's typical of one of those huge conglomerates that grew fat on Government contracts & when the golden goose ran out of cash it collapsed like a house of cards.

I wonder what will happen to all those PPP & Government contracts? No doubt some twat in a suit more expensive than my car will make another killing!

They've been subby bashing for years.

No doubt the Hedge Funds have made a fortune betting against them recently.

Round and round and round we go............

I guess the long awaited Aberdeen bypass will remain half finished then, they've been working on it for around three years now. Make a great drag strip if they mothball it. The bypass is running at £78m over budget, fixed price contract, oops!!.

the aberdean bypass is about 25 years late

ironic that by the time its finished there will no need for it as aberdean will be an oil less ghost town!

Exactly right, the council pratted on for so long it has now become a redundant waste of time. There are far more oil industry job losses up here than Carillion will see, but it's old news and is spread amongst so many different companies and suppliers that it doesn't hit the headlines any more. I was going to get an HGV licence due to the amount of work here on the bypass........ think I'll shelve that idea !!
