Is it actually an S ? I don't think you've said so.

PLease post pictures of the "floor change" - how well has it been done. What shape is the trans tunnel.

No. It's not an S. It's a bitsa 850 with some cooper and S bits.

The floor was out of a mid 90's mini. So it has the later tunnel, for a rod change box.

I have decided that I am going to keep it and sort it out. Mostly because I won't be able to buy anything decent with the money that selling this would release. It's also unlikely I would afford to get back into mk1's at a later date if I sold this one.

I will probably start a thread on my budget bitsa in the "our projects" section. Hopefully this will help to keep me motivated and keep it moving forward.

I don't have the budget or skills that a lot of you have on this forum, so it's likely to take more time than most....

Don't worry, I've never let a lack of budget or skills hold me back.....!

Sorry but this is meaningless without a decent set of pics.

Mark.

I have decided to keep it in the end.

I have just being having a bit of a mid restoration/build wobble. I am sure we have all been there when things are not going to plan.

I will take some proper photos and put them in a build thread....

Can you close this thread?

We have all been there!

I am really pleased that you have managed to get over your wobble. It is often worth having a rest every now and again if you stop enjoying a project, then approach it again later with fresh steam.

Good luck.

M
