Why the fu**ing hell do people do THIS to their cars?

Image

This is a serious question, I can easily understand most "Yoot movements" Ilicit narcotics, unprotected ramdom sexual encounters, I can even get my head round Facebook & Twitter, but the fashion for making your car almost undrivable & ridiculous looking is totally beyond me.

PLEASE! Can some explain?

That is a good question. There are a bunch of highly negative camber cars around here... but none as dramatically bad as what's shown in the picture you posted.

I think people are trying to make their cars look like the highly stylized cartoon/graphic images of cars.

I'm entirely wit you brudda an' de yoot. Mind you I ask myself the same question when I see flares in otherwise beautifully restored Mini Coopers. My neighbour here in this small village is one of the top-dog auctioneers at one of the top-dog London auctioneer houses, He tells me that without exception a bog standard car will always out perform one price wise that's had these body mods. But it's a personal thing really

i like it, its a style of Japanese tuning culture that turns cars into almost cartoon like structures, bit like the Bosozoku cars with the huge spoilers and glittery paint schemes

there are some really good programs on youtube about stuff like this, its fascinating how these little groups evolve in Japan as almost a 'two fingers up' to older people and expensive race cars - the ideas are that a car has to have 2 degrees of camber 'because its a track day car' then have 20 degrees of camber 'must' be better

its no worse than spotty wayne and waynettas handbrake turning bodykitted saxos around pc worlds car park with a pair of mcdonalds trays stuck under the back wheels!

lets hope your neighbour never auctions a Radford, or a Zagato converted DB4 Aston then if he thinks cars with body mods are worth less than standard cars......
