I think it has gone to a good home now. As I understand it the car needs a bit of work to "restore" it to its former glory. Personally I hope that it will be taken back to its original condition without "deseaming." I haven't seen the car in the flesh but hope the Horner's will restore it properly.

Let’s hope so Cliff the car deserves to be put back to the way Ringo had it in the 60’s. The biggest problem for them will be in remaking the original Hooper front seats. There is only 2 cars that I know of that are fitted with the same front seats that this car would of had when new. One problem they won’t have is finding the Money to do it. ;)

I'd be really impressed if we found out that they were even the slightest bit interested in putting it back to as it was, BUT I suspect it'll get a couple of runs out to Goodwood and stay in the garage til it's sold again one day. Would really like to be proved wrong though!! :D I've got a feeling Shifty might give the once over for them cos it's not been run very much.

I wasn't surprised at the price of the Beatles mini it was the sale of the Vincent motorbike at £119.100 my late father had an immaculate example in the mid 80s owned it for 25 years won't dare tell me mother how much that went for.

I heard she has already requested having the 'sticking plaster' roof and that god awful after-market dash are replaced with Union Jack vinyl wrap.

Perhaps we will see it out and about, as Pete has said Goodwood is favourite for this, would be really nice to see it put back to it's original state, lets hope it doesn't grow any Red Bull 'decorations'
