Well no one expected PSA to do that after the sale was finalised...... :roll:

"PSA Group is cutting jobs at a UK factory that builds Opel and Vauxhall Astra cars for European markets.
The French automaker, which finalized its purchase of Opel/Vauxhall from General Motors in August, will ax up to a quarter of the workforce at Vauxhall’s plant in Ellesmere Port in northwest England. PSA said it will cut 400 jobs at the factory to improve the production facility's competitiveness."

Location: Up north where men are men and sheep are frightened
I can't see it surviving long it's just an assembly plant for mainly imported parts, the engines are made in Hungry and the gearboxes in Austria. I'm sure that transporting them there must be really good for the environment
