All the posts are numbered. If you click on the little paper icon next to the “Posted:” time on each post it’ll give you a link to each particular post

Nope, nuffink. sumfink seems to flicker but no thread number per post. What a total computer thickie like me needs is page numbers (got them) and a thread number alongside or on each thread because while I'm a computer thickie, I can read and count. I won't be the only computer illiterate on the forum

If you place your cursor (arrow) over the small block (1) next to the post time a link address appears at the bottom left of your screen (2). This has the unique post number. If you right click whilst on the small block (1), a menu should appear where you can click copy link, then when compiling your post you right click in the text box and click paste to place the post link within your post.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nothing personal, Surf.
Just reflects my senility.

Surfy....., I sympathise with Dave here. You're taking this tooooo seriously. Chill a bit. I've found previously that you have to think hard before injecting a bit of joviality, irony or just simple humour in anything you write about. Am I any the wiser too? Nope.

Really, I need to chill. Well Peter if you don't want help then don't ask for it. I was only trying to help you out, but as I said to David, next time I won't bother.
