Just stripped, rebuilt, assembled and tested (on the car) an ACR alternator to pack away for (hopefully.....) long term storage. It had got a bit crusty externally and under the cover but all cleaned and cleared now. Any of you sparky types advise whether to spray inside with an light touch of electrical maintenance spray. Arrow ZX54 electro-mech lubricant or similar? Thanks

Me again....... After speaking with ArrowChem, the opinion is that their ZX54 is most suitable for this application. In fact, it's just this sort of application it was made for. It will also be most suitable for those storing a generator and/or a starter motor for a prolonged period - say during a restoration of the car.

There it is. You can use this on your rebuilt electrics
