Ford in 73/4 had Monza blue, Daytona yellow, Sunset red, Diamond white, LeMans green, Modena green and some nice metallics including Purple velvet, Tawny bronze and Evergreen. They knew what they were doing.........

Of cars that nobody wanted...... The Forces used a sort of large fleet (240 cars) of Austin 1800's in deep bronze green colour for mid to high ranking Officers as staff cars until they stopped making them for that wedge shaped 1800 and 2.2 Princess. Which BL then tried to persuade the Army/Navy and RAF to buy to replace the big old (and rusty) 1800's! They didn't even get past the first day of the acceptance programme! I wonder if there's a collectors forum for them?
