Funny that, my Morris MK2 is 1365483 registered 1st February 1970.

I know that the chassis numbers are not necessarily build order numbers but they remarkably close.

Mine is Flame Red monotone, so another MK3 colour.

I had a glacier white very late '69 Mk2 and also had the option of an Antelope too, from Stewart and Ardern in N London. Never seen a Bronze yellow one - or even heard of one!

Mk2 Coopers were available in Glacier White, Aqua, Flame Red, Antelope and Bronze Yellow.

I posted a colour finish sheet on another thread to confirm these colours

Nice car and I agree it looks good in that colour combo. Aren't those van/pickup doors?

I thought that those ovals in the door photos would spark that van-doors debate again! While we're on the subject of Mk2's in Mk3 colours. Does anyone know the number of late Mk2's (998's and 1275's) that came in Mk3 colours. We KNOW that by default the LAST chassis number will be in a Mk3 colour so all we need to do is find the FIRST chassis numbers that came with Mk3 colours. That''ll be the answer. I guess that it'll be more than we think.......

Added later. I think that STG's September '69 iAntelopes as good a starting point as it gets. I didn't realise that the Mk3 colours started that early.
