A few Pictures to give my dad a nudge into replying to the thread. (He's got alot of them including one's of the build) Also a picture of 407 with its sister car 977.

There is so much bullshit surrounding this car at the time my dad did not want to know, he was asked to do the Job that's what he did. But i'll let my dad tell you more if he wants to.

I will leave you with is food for thought. The real reason why 407 ARX was never filmed again and shown has not been mention on this thread or even on other forums or news Articals like the one on motoringbox. Which is interesting because it happened again this year  :?:

fricking 407ARX
I part numbered this up front bumper to back bumper when Topgear where sorting out the restoration of it, it took weeks to do the quote, in the end they fecked around so much, wanting phone conferences and 'blue sky meetings' we told them to boil their heads and told them we didn't want to get involved in it due to the hassle.

Thankyou Rich  that would be why they never asked for a price before doing it. They said they new it was going to cost the most to do out of all the cars before we even looked at it.

Unfortunately this was the segment filmed before....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdbETy_2Tus

Top Gear were due to do some filming with us the following week with the studio filming date set in November (4 days before the show went to air).
But due to this accident filming was postponed until the next season by then all the envy, jealousy etc etc had started (i can think of stronger words but i dont want to get the thread locked!)

So the BBC decided not to include it in Season 6 and eventually binned it!
