Expansion tank most likely from ADO16. Not a stock mini part.

I used to fit the ADO16 expansion tanks from breakers yards to all my Minis in the 1970's as an easy upgrade to improve the cooling system.

There are some photos here, some are on the RHS side of the engine bay and some are on the bulkhead
