Hi!

I'm wondering about the original tool kits supplied with the cars from the factory. I have seen two different models of side jacks and I've seen black ones as well as red/orange ones.
Does anyone know when the color changed, when the design of the jack itself changed? What was originally included in the tool kits? Just a jack and handle?
I have two minis that I want to add complete and correct set of tools to.

-1974 GT (Red/orange side jack?)
-1965 'S' (Black side jack?)

The contents of the tool kit are listed in the handbooks. Both the standard kit & the supplementary one.

There are 2 types of Jack for a MK1, they are both red / orange, the early type was triangular & looked similar to a Morris Minor jack, the later was the "normal" "T" shaped jack. The later "T" shaped jack was eventually painted black in the early 70's.
