All the later details tell me that one came off the production line more than a decade after 1963.

It may still be, officially, a '63, but then a LOT of changes have been made.

I think its more likely that its just the chassis plate that's been 're-shelled' from a 63 into a circa 76-77 car.

Does look like a very good shell though and would make a nice pick up if it was 're-shelled' into a more appropriate period identity.

Would be tax exempt now if it was a 76 and next year if it was a 77, which was the whole reason it probably started to lie about its age :roll: :lol:

Chassis number appears to be a saloon, though the dealer assures me the V5C says pickup.
