Just been reading the article in Octane on the 'new' Mini Madgwick that Swiftune are doing to order, looks interesting, much rather have one of these over the David Brown ones

Just read the article.

A replica 'S' rebuilt around a mk1 donor car with a road friendly spec Swiftune engine.

A bargain at £35k imho

Nick :)

As Nick has said it's a Swiftune branded S alike, much more in keeping with a Mini, I guess you will be able to spend as much as you like on one, if the basic car is £35K it's not bad for a car that will have some real DNA from a 60's tuning company rather than someone who has just bought a name

Really good article and as Metronick says at £35k fully built not quite a bargain but a good buy. Shell if you can find one £5-10,000, Resto £10,000 and all interior, Swiftune engine £10,000 not bad value with a bit of pedigree attached.

Come on chaps, give us a clue!

After down loading then wading through 300 odd pages in miniature on my iPhone I'm pretty sure the article is not in the August issue.

Any clues please?
