It wouldn't surprise me, Jem had fingers in several pies back then. A while ago I was looking at buying a Marcos 1600 or 3000 GT and did some reading into the company, old Jem was a fascinating bloke, they don't make them like that anymore ;)

My 3 penneth.
The 850 was a good match for the Escorts in the right conditions.
Marjorie Poops showing a bit of leg in 1968 - disgusting, wouldn't happen these days :o :oops:

Does anyone know who the photographer of this would have been? I believe he did a lot of BMC's promotional photos. I read an interview with him where he said that if you got the girl to cover the part of the rego that dated it, you could get several years out of the same picture.

Is that a monotone crashed S just above the Broadspeed? Can't tell if it's a Mk1 or 2. LOOKS like a Mk1 (note the corner bar) but it's got a plain black interior.

God...... I feel like I'm becoming an anorak.......
