I had the same issue after I had bought my first one. It took about a year to find another black one. Strangely enough I did come across a blue one too

Those seats with the fibreglass tub were the standard issue with a Mini Marcos Mk3.
Fantastic habit of breaking the base of the seat and a bugger when the metal bars in the base get a bit damp and start to rot blowing the fibreglass as well.
Other than that they are quite comfortable.

Yep, same owner, it's been in their storage for an equally long time and it's being sold by RT for exactly the same reasons(!?). Whether they have legal right to is another matter!

I'd hazard a guess that somebody re-shelled their Mk3 'S' and left this kicking about .. probably little to no chance of getting a legitimate ID as it will already be in use ..
. The original car was indeed reshelled, and I also heard this may well have been the very last Cooper S off the line! :shock: ??
