Back to the past. Strong provenance, first registered 1972, original colour Blaze orange, ex-works BMC 1969 car and was used in 1968 Duckham Road Race Series car 12 - say honest to God :lol: :lol: :lol:

wouldn't a 69 have flat bonnet hinges?

Yes it should have flat hinges and the bonnet prop on the other side (on 1275GTs only) and those black rubber bungs in the inner wings should not be there on a pre-70 shell either. Gear lever should be black. Has the wrong rear bumper for clubman too...

And early GTs had flick switches and centrally mounted ignition.

And has been mentioned previously the first Clubman/GT shells were not built until summer '69.
