Has this MK3 Cooper S with dry suspension....and GT block been discussed......what do you think ? Looks like a total fake to me, based on a nice mk3 mini 1000......doesn't even look like they could be bothered to put the spaced drums on the back

It does not look to be an original to me. There is something up with the boot area, the board clips especially the middle one, look to be in the wrong place and I thought the rear seal panelwithout the roto dip hole did not appear until 1973/74. I thought for that age of car it should have the large oval hole.
It has certainly had work done to the front floors and it has got some of the extra wide oversills which do not look to be fitted that well.

Yeah probably but F***ing expensive at £330K, surely Pete - unless you tell us less well informed why it's worth it :?

I wouldn't think for a minute that he's asking £330K! But then if it's a typo you'd be pushed to find an S like that for £33K, so it's abit baffling??

Price altered to £33K. Won’t last long now I reckon

It would be okay for 8 grand - that's really all it's worth as it's so clearly a wrong'un.

My June 1971 S does not have any fresh air vents. The brake servo is also different to mine.Maybe other differences which I have not spotted.
