Is the fluting difference early / late or just alpine v accessory seat?

That could well be the "Traveller" accessory seat - do you have a photo of the underside?

I think they are out of an early Alpine from what I can tell, just added an article about restoring these in the Tec section

They do look like early Scimitar - however at least the top fluting is correct - underside should look like this
