Totally agree with that what you've said RS !and.rs1800 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 8:05 pmI asked the seller what 1964 parts remain on the car-he insists that it’s the original shell with lots of heritage panels fitted!!!
It’s a really nice car to be fair,but it isn’t nearly 17 grand nice,and it certainly isn’t from 1964.
There is nothing on that shell that I can see that would indicate any part of it was built in 1964, but it is a lovely car looking car and looks well built.

Mind you, you need 3 of them in total

on the positive side, such prices make my restoration of the 3 ashtrays including re-plating well worth. If I sold them I could probably finance the restoration of the whole car

I keep my Heligan pineapple jam in Mk1 glass washer bottles

Looks like an Inno shell from the wiper arrangement/scuttle panel. But it's not much of a bargain at the level it is at now. 1001 Innos are not worth much more when running, and that one's missing some expensive parts from the front.WMU 211G wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 11:49 am Innocenti 1000 project on ebay too, with added Elf / Horney exterior trim and an interesting looking dash....

It's obvious what's happened; they've plucked a VIN from thin air, got a heritage certificate, built a car and registered it on an age related plate on the VIN.whistler wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 2:43 pmI messaged the seller and commenting on the fact that it was not a mk3 shell and what parts were 1965.and.rs1800 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 1:26 pm https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1965-MORRIS- ... Ten grand!!
His/her answer
"Hello there. Im saying mk 3 as its not a mk1/mk2
There is 65 paperwork which has been with car last 7 years. We know whats thats worth ? If there was more of original car it would not be 10k. Thx"
So there's your answer. The paperwork says it's a 65. Must have been a special model. I'd give it a ringing endorsement.
