Why so negative about this very nice mk1,
how original must it be. The whole thing
looks very nice and the seller is very honnes
about it. Take a good look at the good things
he did and not always at the small "wrong"
things.

If that is original I'm Father Christmas... It reminds me of a Safety Fast Engineering product....

The story has a whiff of a gentleman from the Redditch area about it doesn't it.
In fact, I was surprised to see that the car is in Plymouth!
If you ignore the story, yes, it looks a nice little car in its own right with some nice bits fitted to it.

Why as a Seller do you not ensure the Brakes are fit for purpose ?.. perhaps he should talk that £16k bit & run :?

That was my first thought when I read through that blurb. It certainly has the whiff of Redditch about it, although I don't actually think it is one of his, the level of detail just isn't there.

My first thought was if that is Clipper Blue, I'm a Dutchmabn (no offence to Duchmen  ) Then you look at all the individual bits & bobs, no detailed pictures, different interior, too good to be true selection of bolt on bits & TBH I took the whole story with a huge pinch of salt.

Then after looking for a good long time, I spotted the rear window sticker & realised all my scepticism was misplaced, if it has one of those it MUST be genuine

As has been said, if you are buying the car its a nice thing, if you are buying the story, you are fooling yourself.

Used to belong to the bloke who starred in Steptoe and Son. Him and his dad collected it on their horse and cart.
