I saw that & was "sort of" tempted, but felt that it was overpriced.

So sorry not to have seen that one.
My original 3 wheeler was inspired by Owens outfit after first seeing it at Mallory park in the 60's

Anyone got the old link to the ebay listing please?

I have some of my fathers old Cine film footage of lots of 60's racing including the first outing of the Honda's at Oulton park, when every british bike rider said they would never 'catch on'

That looks nice-apart from the colour.
Metallic paint?
Obviously the person that had it restored painted it in a colour they like,so fair play to them,it’s their car, they can do what they want, but how much would a non original colour such as this devalue the car?
Serious question.
It would really put me off unless it was ridiculously cheap-which it isn’t.

Looks like whole shell was painted as well, so big job to change the colour.

For me, its the colours that make an early Mini, metallic paint and bright colours, make them feel like later cars...

Maybe the dealer benefited when they bought it by pointing out the non original colour ;)
