It's amazing how much adding a couple 37s to your doors can do for the value of your car :o

Sold 25th Jan 2020 for a smidge over £10,000

https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic ... per-mk-ii/

Add numbers and enter into auction on March 7th with an estimate of £15,000-£20,000

Just shows you, there’s plenty of fellow brocade pervs out there and original kit is what people want. ( and it smells great).

I had a load of NOS seat covers I sold a few years ago, I could have retired on ‘em now! :( ( still got plenty though, still need some to sniff in the garagewhen nobody’s looking ;) )

It is being more honest about its origins that does it.

First Auction it wears a 1275 badge on the bootlid.

Now it wears a 1000 badge.

Not sure how that fits with the engine though.....

Coachbuilt Mk2 S here, I saw it on the London - Brighton run a few years ago and got chatting with the owner before the start at Crystal Palace, a very nice period piece... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333516177027?ul_noapp=true

My hastily grabbed shot of it on the day...
