I did wonder why it has a re-issued "age related" number if it is so original and genuine?

I sort of knew a bloke out that way in the early 1990's called Richard Cooper. He found an almost delivery mileage Surf blue 997 in a dry garage that came with a house he bought in the Cotswolds. He bought a couple of NOS 997 cranks from me - wonder if it's him?
