Just a quick update car and classics have got back to me ASAP and have suspended/ removed the advert.
They got back to me within 5 minutes to deal with it .

The odd part of that scam is they’ve the dealer’s genuine phone numbers so the scam won’t work very well then if you call them? :lol: Very odd way to do a scam.

Yes very strange but when you looked further into the advert there was a different number and email link , which when I called the number it didn’t ring .
As I said before I’m sure they were hoping people would email the ad in the chance to take deposit money from vulnerable folks

That's genuine. I've got an old Mini mag from circa the summer of 1997 which had a feature on the father and daughter who own it, they had another 997 and an SPi Cooper IIRC. I'll try and dig the mag out
