Perhaps not a crazy price though as a base for a project? At least it looks fairly rust-free when compared with any UK square-front :)

Nice looking Mk2 Mini 1000 here, I know they're rare now compared to Coopers etc but is it worth nearly £20k...?

It is a beauty and quite rare, way more standard Mk1s about than Mk2s. Interesting to see how long it is for sale at that price.

I used to own that - I bought it for £1000 from a guy in Leicester. It was a very nice original car. I sold it to a friend who completed the restoration and sold it at Anglia Car Auctions a couple of years ago for £7000 if I remember rightly (I wish I'd known - I'd have bought it back!). It is not worth £19500 - perhaps why it has been on sale for well over 12 months....

DOWNTON Mini is what I like a lot.
Mini 1000 Super de Luxe Mk3 1974 for Downtoning it.
Collecting 60th wooden steeringwheels.
