The Mk1 S appears to me to have recovered the drivers seat cushion and left their briefcase in place under the cover.

Perhaps your right Ronnie, the briefcase contains £50k in cash and they can't be bothered to untrim the seat to get at it so they're just putting it on the asking price!!!

I always thought that the first was week not month .. is that true of all parts?

No, depends on age of the part

can you be more specific? thanks

Most parts are month/year, although a few parts like boot lock and radiator are week/year. Though believe that most became week/year at some point, like your example, but not in Mk1.

85k :o :o :o :o , not exactly Concours .

More pictures here if you can cope with it: http://www.aston.co.uk/cars-for-sale/au ... -s/car1487

Have to say my first effort at re-covering one of my seats was far better than they've managed there.

To be fair I am certain the steering wheel is upside down because the car has some lock on, otherwise they put the badge in upside down as well ;)

Was it really the case that the steering wheels were fitted different ways up for Austin and Morris, or is that just another urban myth?

i think he also forgot to weld the tags on the floors when he fitted them!

the pipes on the radius arms look as if they are just about at the point of rubbing on the handbrake cables
