Looks like 5 years worth of ebay buys in one lot , tells a good story though!!

It's almost believable too. But it's one of those fables (with lots of open and closed brackets) and an open and closed bracket (every other sentence) that gives the whole tale that hint of Greg Hales (or Enid Blyton).

Top marks for some excellent bullshitting though. He's got the balance of fact/fantasy just right for an entertaining read.

the guy has collected all the trinkets to make his car look more like the cooper s he claims it is, but doesn't know of the front brakes are 7.5 or 7" and its got flat rear drums - more likely to be a cooper then..............

A while ago, my mates and I concocted a story about me being a former Gloucestershire wicketkeeper in the 80s..."best mates" with Andy Stovold..."mentor" to Jack Russell, etc, etc... The point was to shut up a new cricket club member who was gobbing off far too much for everyone's liking. :x
Well anyway, it worked and he stopped bullshitting immediately.
The problem was that I had to keep the story rolling for a bit. Then that bit, became a while and eventually I actually ended up believing my own bullshit background story.

Sometimes, I reckon that what happens to advertisers of fabricated Mini junk such as we see here.
