Im sure whats his face and co will pull some dodgy reg numbers and dubious history out of a hat and try and pass some off as BMC prototype competition cars owned by fictional famous people

I've just seen a Heritage MK1 shell pop up for sale on the 'Mini Classic 1959 - 2000' page on Facebook.

The pictures aren't detailed enough to see what the quality's like but it's certainly MK1 shaped.

Recreating the Mark 1 Mini Bodyshell

British Motor Heritage Ltd
Fifty years after the last Mark 1 Mini rolled off the production line, British Motor Heritage Limited have recreated this iconic vehicle's bodyshell for the benefit of Mini enthusiasts worldwide. Features specific to the Mark 1, such as external door hinges, sliding windows and many others have been recreated using a mix of traditional and modern engineering techniques.
28 September 2017
Time: 18:30 arrival for 19.00 start
I have attached a poster for this event and welcome your assistance in advertising this event to your friends and colleagues. This events is free to attend and there is no booking required.
Location:
University of Birmingham
Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B15 2TT
There is free parking available on campus and outside Mechanical Engineering after 6pm – please use the intercom at the East Gate and let security know you are attending an IMechE event and they will allow you access (there are only direction signs for our event from the East Gate). A campus map can be found here:

I very much doubt it. They told me they don't yet intend to sell any of the individual panels. In part this is due to the amount of hand finishing that's required.
