Heres one i had in my old mini. One of four made. Two went to japan, and the other is on display at Gaydon. Sold it and still regretting it....

I don't think it was one of four.
When I was an apprentice back in 1980, BL Technology were clearing out their offices/workshops on the Rover site as they moved to Gaydon.
I was helping them chuck out the unwanted stuff as they moved.

I threw 5 of those in the skip along with 5 and 8 port iron heads, some with May fireball combustion chambers in. The parts were all part of the Metro development program looking for better efficiency.

It was all going to cost too much to productionise, so the Metro got the 12G940....
