There is a nice article in the new issue of Classic car mart about a run I did with my pal Nigel Boothman this time last year. We took my Mk1 for a jaunt round the countryside in the Scottish borders.

It's not a magazine I normally buy, but it's still nice to see the car in print.

The shoot was done in a bit of a rush as they wanted something to use whilst last years snow was still on the ground, but that's it only just made it to print now........ typical journos :D

must dig out and post up some of the other photos which didn't make print - some of them are great. One looked to me very much like a BMC press dept shot, of the car sitting on the bank of a loch, with fishermen and a campfire in the background.

I'm very lucky that all these roads are within half an hout to the south, and Edinburgh is the same to the north.

i need to get on with the Lotus!
