You may be able to tell by my forum name what my plan is, while at this year's L2B I came across the stand showing a minisprint body, the workmanship was excellent so this got the old juices running, I enquired about the price, that seemed ok, but the big problem is finding a decent body shell, the obvious option would be to buy a new one, problem is no v5 plus I'll still need those 100s of bits and bobs to complete the car. So option 2, import one from a dry climate and that's the question where would be the best place to get one from and if anybody knows of contacts/web sites etc

Good luck with your project.

It was Paul Wiggington's stand & Paul really does do a first class job! Would be interested to know what you were quoted ;-)

Here's a pic of my Sprint done by Nevillet Trickett back in 2009.

I'm also looking for a pre 65 shell / rolling project if anyone has one. A '62 would be ideal.

Wiggy is one of the best ex Aston crafts men you will meet. If he builds you a sprint you won’t be disappointed.

I do have one, but it's in Switzerland.

It's 100% rust free but no V5c

Cheers
