Samples arrived today.

I received 2 1 is a bit too dark, the other is not too bad for colour, but the material is nowhere near I'm afraid.

Hi All

Sorry for the silence, but nothing was really directed at me to answer.

But I could say : - Don't forget that the picture mk1 posted is of the exhibition quality Auto Velour and is nothing like the Veltone you were discussing, but I did that say earlier.

So you are justified in saying "the material is nowhere near I'm afraid".. lol

Auto Velour is our base carpet, we also have Hessian backed which is a tight short pile tufted carpet (Pictured in Red) and the Tufted deep pile silicone backed carpet which is your wool replacement but far superior to it. (Pictured in brown).

Also, its sad times here at Tech Autos .. Admin time... yawn.. a mammoth task ahead of us but here goes.

Just to let you know that we have been informed that there will be a price increase as of the 1st of April 2016.

So if you were thinking of purchasing, perhaps now is the time to look at it again.

Below are some links to the info pages

Carpet Guides, you can find all sorts of information on Heel Pads, Snap Kits, Fitting tips & more, it's worth a look.

The Mini Classic pages start here

I have yet to have time to add the Tar.OX brakes, if I get time, I'll add them soon, yes I know this thread about carpets but you never know..lol

If you have any questions, please call / Skype us for a friendly chat or send us an email, more than happy to answer any question you like.

Kind regards.

Josh

P.S.
I have tried to add some pictures below, but I have no clue how to properly add them, so if I have it wrong, please let me know or just show me how to..

Please remember, these are taken by me on my Apple iPoo5s (Sorry I was forced into buying it) , I am no David Bailey but they are fairly close.

Tried finding this thread last week....good news...dug it up today.Good info. here on Tech Auto carpets...anyone used these?
Also, while we are on the subject....heel pads.
According to my records....the old style heel pad was used uo Body # 46931...approx.
After that....it appears to be the MK2 style. Attaching a picture of both types.
Does anyone have some better information on when they changed?

The change was at the same time as they changed from wool to veltone. Early 66.
